Interstate 47 is a major north-south freeway in Innistrad.
History[]

I-47 was originally built as a replacement for Voldaren Highway 140, a two-lane spur of I-40 between it and L'Étang-du-Ouest. As a result of the new freeway being built, it became a major link between Havre-aux-Maisons and L'Étang-du-Ouest. It also had its own spur, I-147, until it became the easternmost part of I-50.
Since then, I-47 got a few extensions. It was extended south to Voldaren Highway 56, then north to I-67, then south again all the way to I-55 north of Nashoba.
On August 29th, 2022, work started on a northern extension of I-47, which would lead it thousands of blocks north to the currently unbuilt city of Veil City. The segment connecting I-47 to Avenue Tingle, Route 1015, opened on September 7th; a segment from there to the newly commissioned Voldaren Highway 84 in what's now Brockville opened on September 11th; and the whole road to Veil City, including a new business loop through downtown, opened on September 23rd.

Trivia[]
- I-47 is one of the few highways in Innistrad with a tunnel: Tunnel Bulk Bogan just north of I-81 goes through the Montagne d'Or. It is one of three tunnels in the network, the others being Tunnel Stellagosa on Voldaren Highway 71 in Deep Cut and Tunnel Scott-Nazelrod on I-34/Voldaren Highway 48 west of Waluigi City.
